"ORP Błyskawica" is a Polish Grom-class destroyer, standing since May 1, 1976 at "Skwer Kościuszki" in Gdynia as a museum.
It is the world's oldest preserved destroyer, which took part in, among others, the Norwegian campaign, the evacuation of Dunkirk, the Battle of the Atlantic, operations "Torch" and "Overlord", and the Battle of Ushant.

It was introduced into service in the Polish Navy in 1937.

During its active service, it served as the flagship of the Navy, and the Polish fleet trained on board.
In 1967, after a failure of the boiler room, another renovation was deemed unprofitable and from 1969 she remained in Świnoujście as a stationary anti-aircraft defense ship.
The total length of this unit is 114 m, its maximum width is 11.3 m, and its displacement is 2,011 tons.
The ship had two sets of Parsons steam turbines, which allowed it to achieve a maximum speed of 39.6 knots and a maximum range of 2,000 nautical miles, and at a speed of 15 knots - 3,573 nautical miles.
